Activating NFC: Starting from iOS 13, iPhones from 7 onwards natively support reading NFC Tags. For iPhone 7, 8, and X, the option to read an NFC Tag is available in the Control Center; you simply need to enable NFC reading from the dropdown menu.

For iOS versions before 13, iPhone 7, 8, and X require a dedicated app to read NFC tags, while later iPhone models with NFC sensors can read NFC tags automatically

How to Tap on the Chips:

  • Unlock your iPhone and navigate to the home screen.

  • Hold the top edge of your iPhone near the NFC chip

  • Once the notification appears, tap on it to access the associated Digital Passport
