Create an item template

The "Items" section allows you to create, edit, and manage templates used for tokenizing and creating a Digital Product Passport (DPP) for individual items or groups of items.

All item templates you create will be displayed in the Item section, enabling you to edit or duplicate them or proceed to tokenization at any time.

You can edit, duplicate, or delete any templates before tokenization and DPP creation. Once the DPP is created, it will be recorded on the blockchain and will no longer be editable or customizable.

To get started, click the "Create Item" button in the top left corner and enter a general name for your template. You will then be directed to the main content page, where you can upload media, provide details, and add a description for the item that will be displayed on the DPP.

In the "Details" section, select a name for your item and upload the media you'd like to be included in the Passport. You can either select the item by clicking on “Browse image” or drag and drop the content directly. Choose a media file among the accepted formats listed, with a maximum dimension of 25MB. Additionally, you’ll have the option to select a 3D file and add additional media content that will be displayed in the media gallery of the passport.

After selecting the media, add a description for the item to provide further detail. The media and all the details you’ve entered will be displayed in the preview window on the right. Click on “Next” to proceed.
